Meet Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Angela

With over 30 years of teaching art in both public and private settings, I've had the joy of watching thousands of students discover their creative voice — from kindergarteners making their very first brushstroke to high schoolers developing their own artistic style.

I hold a teaching certificate in Art Education with a minor in Art History, and I'm trained in a wide variety of mediums and techniques. But more than credentials, what drives me is a deep love for bringing people together through the power of art.

My Story

Art Has Always Been My Language

My teaching career was dedicated to students K–12, and over three decades I've seen firsthand how art transforms young people. It builds patience, problem-solving, self-expression, and — most importantly — confidence. A child who discovers they can create something beautiful carries that belief with them forever.

I'm trained in a variety of special areas, and I love exploring new mediums alongside my students. Watercolor, drawing, clay building, mixed media, collage — if you don't see what you're interested in learning, just ask! Chances are, we can make it happen.

Sunkissed Art Studio was born from a simple idea: that art should be accessible, joyful, and community-driven. Whether you're a child picking up a brush for the first time or an adult who's always wanted to try something creative, you belong here.

"Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, my workshops are for you."— Angela

Studio Philosophy

What I Believe

Every Person is a Creator

Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush or you've been sketching since childhood, Angela's workshops are designed to meet you exactly where you are. There are no mistakes in art — only happy accidents.

Fall in Love with the Process

The goal isn't a perfect finished piece — it's the joy of making. Angela believes that when kids (and adults!) fall in love with the creative process, confidence and skill follow naturally.

Art Builds Community

Creating together is one of the most powerful ways to connect. Angela's classes are warm, welcoming spaces where people come together, laugh, experiment, and leave feeling inspired.
